Values-based recruitment, which is practiced by all National Panhellenic Conference organizations, focuses on meaningful conversations between collegiate members and Potential New Members with the goal of recruiting women who will have a positive impact on chapters and the Panhellenic community. When a chapter uses Pi Phi's six core values as the foundation on which they recruit their members, a focus is placed on conversation and creating a sincere connection with each woman that walks through the door.
What Pi Beta Phi stands for is not a secret! Our values are included in our mission statement, our tagline and throughout our Ritual. Examples of Pi Phis living our values in their daily life can be found all over our social media, The Arrow® and throughout each chapter.

A LETTER FROM OUR VICE PRESIDENT OF MEMBERSHIP
Dear Potential New Member,
For me, being a member of the Greek community has led to many great things. I have be able to find my best friends, become a leader, and make my 4 years of college unforgettable. Pi Phi is my home away from home. I am surrounded by 100+ amazing women everyday and there is nothing but love. We support each other, make each other laugh, and lift each other up. I do not know what I’d do without these people.
Pi Phi has many important core values. Sincere friendship, philanthropic service, and life commitment are just a few things that every Pi Phi implements in their daily lives. Our core values are what makes Pi Phi special and they allow us to be the best versions of ourselves.
Formal recruitment might seem nerve wracking or intimidating at first but everyone at Pi Beta Phi highly recommends that you participate. We have all been on the other side of recruitment at one point in time, and were feeling the same emotions as you!
We are so excited to meet all of you and welcome you into our home in order to show you how truly amazing sorority recruitment and Pi Phi are. Please feel free to contact me with any and all questions you may have.
Pi Phi Love,
Jo Blankenbaker firstname.lastname@example.org
